THE
ASSOCIATION
The
Santander and Cantabria Official Tourist Guides Association – APIT
Cantabria is formed by specialized guides in cultural visits,
organized trips, congresses, …
Every member has the license of the
Cantabrian Government (Decreto 32/1997 de 25 de Abril) which rules
this profession in our Autonomy.
All our members have a large
experience in tourism in our region. We offer our services to
individuals, travel agencies, cultural associations, … We can also
help our clients organizing programmes, making precise itineraries,
adapting your tour to your needs.
Our Associaton collaborates with different
Official Institutions (Cantabrian Government, Town halls, Museums,
…) to guarantee cantabrian guides rights. Agreements with
 them
assure you our guides professional services. This is why APIT
Cantabria is an active member of CEFAPIT (Spanish Confederation of
Tourist Guides Professional Associations).
The
continuous formation is basic in our work development, therefore we
organize different courses and seminars. Additionally every member
receives logistic support from our Association.
